Day 1: Transfer to Kibale National Park
You will be picked up from your hotel in Entebbe or Kampala and embark on the journey to Kibale forest heading west past Mityana and continuing to Fort Portal where you will stop for lunch.
Visit Amabeere Ga Nyinamwiru stalagmites site and the crater Lakes and proceed to Kibale forest arriving in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight at Chimpanzee Forest Lodge
Day 2: Chimpanzee Tracking in Kibale Forest
After morning breakfast, wake up early to track chimps near Kanyanchu. This can take you half a day. There are primates in the area like the L’Hoest monkey, baboons, white and black colobus monkeys, grey checked mangabey, red colobus, blue monkeys and pottos. Other animals include forest elephants unique from the common type, giant forest hogs and a striking tree species.
Enjoy Lunch and later take a guided nature walk to Bigodi swamp sanctuary, a good site for birders. The Great Blue Turaco and Papyrus Gonolek can easily be marked among the other bird 137 species. There is also an array of butterfly species. Later return for dinner and overnight at Chimpanzee Forest Lodge as above.
Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Have breakfast and embark on your transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park where you will arrive in good time for lunch and an afternoon boat cruise along the Kazinga channel which is famous for having the highest hippopotamus concentration in the world.
You will also have a chance to see lots of other game including buffalos and elephants among others and an array of birds on the sand banks. You will then enjoy a transit evening game drive as you retire to the lodge. Dinner and overnight at Buffalo Safari Lodge.
Day 4: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
You will enjoy morning breakfast and set off for Bwindi Forest the home of gorillas driving through Ishasha sector in Queen Elizabeth National Park famous for tree climbing lions. Continue to Bwindi with lunch en-route arriving in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight at Rushaga Gorilla Lodge.
Day 5: Gorilla Trekking Bwindi
Breakfast will be served early and lunch will be packed. The briefing is at 7 am. Your guide will give you highlights of specific details about the way of life of the gorillas you will be tracking. The hike can take anything from one to seven hours.
Trekking through the thick forested hills of Bwindi and then finally coming across the gorillas camouflaged in the vegetation is an inspiring and privileged moment. Once you reach the gorillas, you are allowed to spend one hour with them as you stand 6 meters away. Upon completion of this magical encounter, you will drive you back to the lodge where you can relax in the afternoon or go for another walk to visit one of the communities around.

Day 6: Transfer to Jinja
Enjoy breakfast and transfer back to Jinja town with lunch en-route in Mbarara town and a stopover at the equator for photography if you please. Proceed to Jinja arriving in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay at Jinja Nile Resort.
Day 7: Jinja to Masai Mara
You will depart Jinja early morning and embark on this full day drive to Masai mara crossing into Kenya through Busia border and lunch en-route. You will also have several stopovers en-route as required for photos or stretching out. Arrive Masai Mara late evening, check in and enjoy dinner and stay overnight at Enchoro Wildlife Camp
Day 8: Masai Mara Full Day
Early breakfast followed by a full day of game drive within the reserve.
Masai Mara is renowned for its high animal concentration and abundance. Black-manned lions, elephants and buffalo can be seen (3 out of the big 5) though luck is essential for spotting leopard and rhino, which make the other two.
The reserve is essentially the northern extension of Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park and is home to numerous plains game including wildebeest, common zebra and the Masai giraffe as well as antelopes like Thompson’s gazelle, hartebeest, impala and dikdik among others. You will have a break for your picnic lunch at the hippo pool where hippos are in view and with luck, crocodiles. Return to Enchoro Wildlife Camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 9: Masai Mara Full Day
Morning game viewing in the Mara and a visit to the Masai village.
The Masai Mara, now The New 7the wonder of the world and the 4th preferred tourist destination in the world is home to wildlife in such abundance and variety that it is difficult to imagine.
The most spectacular event of the natural world takes place here; The annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water and pasture while being followed on their heels by the predators of the savanna; lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal, hyena and vulture.
It hosts over 450 species of animals which include lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffes, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, buffalo, leopards, many kinds of antelopes, and elephants. Dinner and overnight at Enchoro Wildlife Camp as above.
Day 10: Transfer to Serengeti Via Isebania
Wake up to an early breakfast and depart Masai Mara heading to Serengeti and crossing into Tanzania through Isebania boarder. The boarder crossing may take between 30 minutes to 1 hour because this is a small boarder and you will be getting your Tanzania visa from here.
Proceed with lunch en-route and access Serengeti through Ndabaka gate where your transit game drive ensues and continue to Serengeti Wildebeest Camp arriving late evening. Enjoy dinner and a night in the middle of Serengeti!
Day 11: Full Day Game Drives
Have breakfast and head out for a day full of game drives and expect to see herds of wildlife!
You will explore the central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracting a variety of wildlife which best represents most of the Serengeti’s species.
Find a good spot to enjoy picnic lunch and return to the camp in the evening for dinner and overnight at Serengeti Wildebeest Camp as above.
Day 12: Game Drive & Transfer to Arusha
Head out for an early morning game drive to catch up with the early risers and predators returning from the hunt! Return for breakfast, freshen up and embark on the journey to Arusha with lunch en-route arriving late afternoon. Dinner and overnight Kibo Palace Hotel.
Day 13: Airport Transfer & Departure
Enjoy breakfast at leisure and transfer to either Kilimanjaro airport (JRO) airport for your onward flight.
